ShrinkPics provides an online image compression and conversion tool. Compression happens directly in your browser — images never leave your device. For large files, server-side processing is available with immediate cleanup.
ShrinkPics operates as a technical service provider ("hébergeur" / "mere conduit") under French and EU law (LCEN 2004-575, GDPR). We process files solely to deliver the requested compression service.
No Storage: Images are compressed client-side in your browser. They never leave your device. For server-side processing, files are processed in memory and deleted immediately. We do not read, store, index, share, sell, or retain any user content.
No Monitoring: We do not actively monitor, curate, or inspect the content of files you process. As a technical intermediary, we have no general obligation to monitor transmitted or stored information.
User Responsibility: You retain full ownership and legal responsibility for your files. We are not liable for user-uploaded content.
No Professional Advice: ShrinkPics is a software utility. We do not provide legal, financial, tax, or professional advice.
Data Processing Location: All processing occurs on EU servers (Hetzner, Germany). Data does not leave the EU.
Service provided "as is." We are not responsible for data loss or damages. Always keep backups.
